Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August 28, 2025
Version: V1.0

This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes Kyrion Media’s practices for cancellations, refunds, service credits, and dispute handling for our content distribution and related services.

1. General Principle

Kyrion Media’s core services are time-sensitive and typically irreversible once Content is published or syndicated to third-party platforms. For that reason, payments for services are generally non-refundable once Content has been published. Where refunds or credits are allowed, they will be handled in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

2. Cancellation Before Publication

You may request cancellation of a scheduled submission prior to publication. To cancel, submit a cancellation request through the Contact Page selecting “Refund / Cancellation” and include your order details.

    • Standard cancellations: If cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled publication time, we will cancel the job and issue either:
      • a full refund minus any non-refundable payment processing fees, or
      • a credit for future Kyrion services (at your choice).
    • Late cancellations (within 48 hours): Cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled publication may be subject to a cancellation fee up to 50% of the service cost (to cover editorial and scheduling work), or we may offer a credit in lieu of a refund.

Note: You are responsible for confirming the scheduled publication time in your order receipt. If you request cancellation because of incorrect scheduling information provided by you, standard cancellation fees may apply.

3. Refunds After Publication

Once Content has been published to Kyrion’s network or third-party platforms, services are non-refundable except in the limited circumstances described below.

Exceptions (Kyrion fault): Kyrion may issue a refund or re-publication (at no additional cost) if Kyrion materially failed to deliver the Service as contracted (for example, publication never occurred due to Kyrion’s technical error and Kyrion cannot reasonably republish). Kyrion will evaluate such claims on a case-by-case basis.

4. Removal by Third Parties & No-Refund Clause

If published Content is later removed by a third-party publisher (for reasons outside Kyrion’s control), this does not automatically entitle the client to a refund. Kyrion will attempt remediation (replacement, re-publication, or alternative distribution) but cannot guarantee outcomes. Refunds will only be provided where Kyrion bears clear responsibility for the removal or failure to publish.

5. Partial Deliveries & Multi-Placement Packages

For packages that include multiple placements, partial non-delivery of placements due to publisher limits, embargoes, or force majeure may be remedied by:

    • rescheduling remaining placements,
    • providing alternative placements of similar value, or
    • issuing a pro-rata credit/refund for undelivered placements — at Kyrion’s discretion.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer (a “chargeback”), Kyrion will review the circumstances and may suspend Services until resolution. If the chargeback is reversed in Kyrion’s favor, any suspended Services will resume and you will be responsible for any costs or fees incurred.

Kyrion reserves the right to recover costs associated with fraudulent chargebacks or disputes.

7. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

    1. Use our Contact Page and select “Refund / Cancellation.”
    2. Provide your order number, reason for cancellation/refund, and any supporting documentation.
    3. Kyrion will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days, investigate, and provide a resolution timeline.
    4. If a refund is approved, Kyrion will process it to the original payment method within 30 days. Processing times may vary by payment provider.

8. Taxes, Fees & Payment Processing Charges

Refunds will not include any taxes collected and Kyrion may deduct transaction fees charged by payment processors where those fees are non-refundable.

Clients are responsible for any taxes and governmental charges unless otherwise stated.

9. Credits & Re-Publishing Options

Kyrion may, at its discretion, offer account credits or re-publication instead of refunds. Credits expire in 12 months unless otherwise agreed. Credits are non-transferable.

10. Consumer Protection & Local Law

This policy is subject to and will be interpreted in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. If local mandatory laws require greater rights (for example, consumer refund rights in certain countries), those local laws will apply to the relevant consumer. Corporate account clients may have fewer statutory protections.

11. Limitation of Liability & No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kyrion’s liability for refunds is limited to the amount paid for the affected Services. Kyrion disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, and consequential losses related to distribution results (e.g., lost revenue, SEO performance).

12. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. The effective date at the top indicates the current version. Changes will not apply retroactively to completed orders unless required by law.

13. Contact & Escalation

To initiate any refund or cancellation request, use the Contact Page and choose “Refund / Cancellation.” Provide order details and supporting documentation. Kyrion will confirm receipt and next steps.

For urgent escalations, choose the relevant escalation option on the Contact Page; we will triage accordingly.
